Job Description
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the overall field management of smaller projects and supports the Superintendent on larger projects. This includes scheduling, subcontractor management, personnel supervision, project staging and sequencing, safety and storm water requirements, quality control, and direct responsibility for the field labor budget.
ResponsibilitiesManage the overall field operations of smaller projects.Support the Superintendent in managing larger projects.Schedule project activities and manage subcontractors.Supervise personnel and ensure project staging and sequencing.Ensure compliance with safety and storm water requirements.Maintain quality control standards.Direct responsibility for field labor budget.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in the commercial building industry.Experience in scheduling, quality, safety, and field management.Proficiency in Microsoft Project scheduling software.Experience in a diversity of project types.Motivational leadership skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Procore preferred but not required.OSHA 30 certification.Experience in the commercial market, ideally in private sector, aviation, data center, government work, and healthcare.Work Environment
Our Client is a commercial General Contractor and MWBE owned. The work environment includes high-level female leadership. Candidates must pass a thorough background check and drug test, and may be subject to random tests, especially when working on airport projects. Not interested in candidates with over 20 years of experience. Relocation assistance may be available for out-of-state candidates. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $44.00 - $53.00/hr.
