Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our rapidly growing organization in the Richmond market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction and will be responsible for supervising on-site aspects of assigned construction projects. This role requires ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all team members adhere to the safety culture and related safety policies and practices.Assist Project Managers in planning for the successful fulfillment of construction projects.Supervise the on-site aspects of assigned construction projects to ensure they are completed as designed, on time, and within budget.Review all work for compliance with federal, state, city, and county codes, regulations, and other matters.Independently run a project while assisting Assistant Superintendents.Essential Skills5+ years in ground-up commercial constructionExperience in Richmond-based multifamily constructionAbility to independently run a projectProficiency in ProcoreOSHA 30 certificationCPR and Standard First Aid training/certificationAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with tenant improvementStrong supervision and safety management skillsGeneral contractor and subcontractor management experienceWork Environment
The work environment for this position is onsite, involving hands-on supervision of construction projects. All employees receive a truck and gas card, as well as competitive bonuses based on individual, office, and company growth. Personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
