Job Title: Superintendent
Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level commercial superintendent to join our team in Virginia Beach. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in K-12 and higher education construction, as well as state and municipality construction. This role requires someone who can lead a team with minimal training, motivate team members, read and interpret construction plans, oversee all aspects of construction, and participate in pre-mobilization, coordination, and closeout meetings.

ResponsibilitiesLead and motivate a construction team on both large and small scale projects.Read and interpret construction plans and documents.Oversee all aspects of construction from ground up.Participate in owner, pre-mobilization, coordination, and closeout meetings.Develop overall construction plans for projects.Manage subcontractors and ensure site safety.Utilize construction management software.Essential SkillsConstruction management experience.General contractor and subcontractor management.Experience in commercial construction.Proficient in supervision and site construction.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.Experience with K-12 and higher education construction is a plus.Completed OSHA 30 Hour Course for Construction.Current First Aid Certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient in computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel.Experience with project management software.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Ability to lead an onsite team.Work Environment

This position is primarily on-site with varying weather conditions. Proper attire is required. Our team is a small, tight-knit group located near the oceanfront in Virginia Beach. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
