Job Title: SuperintendentJob Description We are looking for a superintendent to support several upcoming projects starting in early April. The ideal candidate will have strong restaurant and retail experience and will join our team to ensure project success. Responsibilities + Create all contract documents and obtain bids/estimates from subcontractors. + Select subcontractor teams. + Create budgets and schedules for field teams. + Oversee all communication with owners, tenants, and developers. + Run progress meetings. + Obtain permits and documentation from state and county organizations. + Create and handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc. Essential Skills + Project management + Construction management + Change order management + RFI handling + Commercial construction experience + Construction documentation + Multifamily/Mixed-Use Construction + Budget and schedule creation + Subcontractor selection + Project coordination + Document control + Project engineering + Estimation Additional Skills & Qualifications + 5+ years of experience in commercial base-build construction with at least one out-of-ground mixed-use project. + Strong paperwork experience, including dealing with state and local agencies. + Experience in budget and schedule creation and management. Work Environment The superintendent will work both in the office and on-site, attending progress meetings and ensuring project milestones are met. The project teams will be small and include a Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and President. This role offers a fast-track opportunity to move into a Project Executive role within 36 months. The company is growing and expanding outside the local market but will not require travel. The company will occupy one of the office spaces in the building once completed.
