Job Title: Superintendent of Construction
Job Description

The Construction Superintendent will manage construction projects for a general contractor/construction management company. This role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing project tasks by supervising field staff, sub-contractors, and ensuring overall project safety and quality. The Superintendent will monitor construction activities from the start of the project through completion and will serve as the primary communication link between trades, disciplines, clients, and office leadership. Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Construction Director, this role requires daily reporting and proactive communication. Projects will include commercial, education/K-12, retail, and industrial sectors, with values ranging from $3M to $5M. Construction types will include pre-engineered steel buildings, structural masonry, steel frame, and wood frame.

The Superintendent will work on job sites around the SW Michigan area, including commercial buildings, schools, fire stations, and county buildings. The role includes a company truck, gas card, and cell phone. The weekly schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime.
