Job Title: Superintendent/QCM/SSHO

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent/QCM/SSHO to oversee a major federal project at the US Naval Observatory. This position involves managing a large interior renovation, including demolition, HVAC, electrical, and sprinkler upgrades. You will play a critical role in ensuring the project's quality control, safety, and successful completion.

ResponsibilitiesManage subcontractors and work with government customers daily on quality control and safety.Plan, assign, and direct work according to the scope of work.Inspect work in progress to ensure workmanship conforms to quality standards and applicable codes.Manage scheduling and ensure successful completion of commissioning newly installed systems.Review project specifications, oversee hiring of subcontractors, and terminate as necessary.Develop Quality Control and Health & Safety procedures for federal projects.Essential SkillsQuality controlOSHA 30 certificationFederal construction experienceTriple Hat experience overseeing GSA projectsQCM certificationEM-385 certificationAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrevious federal construction experienceMust have US citizenshipWork Environment

Work will be performed at the US Naval Observatory in Washington, DC. You will be part of a fast-growing general contracting team, working in a small, tight-knit crew aiming to establish a strong presence in the federal arena. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69
