Must be able to plan, organize and control the activities of the department. Responsible for taking inventory and ordering supplies. Assist in plans for improving work methods and schedules; assist in training programs, trains on equipment and provides on the job training; monitors and inspects employee work performance; assigns and distribute work to staff; establishes and coordinates employees work schedule to assure necessary coverage; prepares performance evaluations as well as other reports as needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Two years experience in a housekeeping capacity in a hospital setting or in multi unit live-in facility. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:3 year’s supervisory experience in a housekeeping capacity. Ability to read e-mails and work orders.
