Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Supervision Engineer - Fitting up to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of interior spaces. This includes coordinating with various teams to ensure that the interior build-out or renovation aligns with the client’s requirements, industry standards, and building codes. The role includes managing schedules, budgets, and quality control for interior construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of a functional and aesthetically appealing environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage the Fit-Out execution for a large-scale mixed-use project.
Site based primarily.
Flexibility on working hours is required
Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within his/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.
Supervises the construction engineering work and provide technical expertise for one or more of the construction engineering disciplines, as well as survey personnel.
Supervises Construction Inspectors, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.
Monitors and coordinates all contractors' activities for assigned area.
Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.
Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related fields.
Proven 10 years experience in managing fit-out projects, with a strong understanding of interior construction and finishing techniques.
Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project).
In-depth knowledge of building regulations, codes, and construction safety practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and quality control capabilities.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with both commercial and residential fit-outs.
Familiarity with green building practices and sustainability initiatives.
Knowledge of interior design principles and building systems (e.g., lighting, HVAC, and electrical systems).
