Position Summary:

Bio-Techne is seeking a highly motivated and creative Supervisor to lead a cross-functional team engaged in Antibody Validation especially using Flow Cytometry, ELISA and bioassay. The successful candidate will have the expertise in state-of-the art Flow Cytometry methods and should be familiar with ELISA, and bioassay methodologies, and a general understanding of Cell and Gene Therapy.  This position will support an innovative pipeline of new product development and both internal and external collaborations. 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team responsible for validation of antibodies using Flow Cytometry (primarily), and supported by other assay methods including ELISA, molecular biology techniques, cell culture, fluorescence microscopy, and bioassay when required. Support operations and manufacturing QC for commercial product testing, release and troubleshooting when needed. Act as liaison with the Custom Development, Quality Assurance, Applications teams, and CDMOs to identify and understand customer needs. Oversee multiple Flow Cytometry antibody validation projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. Be a technical resource to your team, responsible for experimental design, data collection and interpretation. Strong presentation and analytical skills are a necessary part of this high visibility role, including technical presentations to both internal and external groups as required. Train and mentor team members, providing technical direction and guidance in all aspects of their work.
