For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: http://www.levyrestaurants.com/who-we-are/ Job Summary Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: + Supervise and support concessions team members, providing guidance, training, and real-time feedback to ensure excellent service. + Monitor team performance, addressing issues as they arise and motivating team members to meet or exceed service standards. + Check assignments during the event and address call-offs or last-minute changes by reallocating staff or arranging replacements as assigned by a manager or the Staffing Coordinator. Operational Oversight: + Oversee the setup, operation, and breakdown of concession stands to ensure smooth and efficient service. + Monitor food and beverage preparation, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards. + Coordinate with the culinary and warehouse teams to ensure all items are stocked and available during events. + Supervise and assist with proper cleaning procedures pre-event, during the event, and post-event. Guest Experience: + Act as a point of contact for guest inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. + Maintain a welcoming and clean environment within concession stands, aligning with guest expectations and company standards. Inventory and Resource Management: + Monitor inventory levels during events, coordinating restocking efforts to avoid service delays. + Track and document inventory usage, preparing reports for management to inform ordering and supply planning. + Ensure all equipment is functional and report maintenance needs promptly. Compliance and Standards: + Ensure all concessions operations comply with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. + Conduct pre-event inspections to verify readiness, cleanliness, and proper stock levels. + Train team members on proper handling and service techniques to maintain compliance. Collaboration and Communication: + Work closely with event managers and other supervisors to address operational needs and resolve challenges. + Collaborate with nonprofit organizations, sub-contractor vendors, and temporary workers. + Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on policies, procedures, and event-specific details. + Assist in planning and executing initiatives to improve service efficiency and guest satisfaction. Administrative and Reporting Duties: + Prepare post-event reports highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. + Maintain accurate records of team member performance, attendance, and training. + Required paperwork is completed and collected in a timely manner. Other Duties: + Supervisory duties on non-event days. + Performs other duties as assigned to support operations and event success. Requirements: + Must be 21 years of age or older. + Previous supervisory experience in concessions, food service, or hospitality. + Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills. + Self-starter and has a solution-oriented mindset. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism. + Must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Illinois BASSET Liquor License.
