Job Description

US Strategic Insights & Prioritization pushes McDonald’s to use evidence-based data to fuel business decisions, build marketing plans, shape longer-term strategic plans, and guide our creative communications. We do this through partnership and collaboration with functional areas across our organization, such as Marketing, Menu Innovation, Supply Chain, Digital, Development, Operations, and Business Insights (BI).

The Customer Behavior Analytics team supports BI, Marketing Strategy, Digital, Delivery and Menu within the US business by understanding how our customers' behaviors change as we make choices. Our team aims to deliver end-to-end and best-in-class marketing & customer analytics that generate data for decision making to drive business performance and improve the customer experience.

In the Supervisor, Customer Behavior Analysis role, you will:

Design and implement robust measurement plans tailored to marketing campaigns (e.g. new products, promotions and deals, brand advertising campaigns, retail promotions), ensuring measurement plans align with the strategic learning plans set by the cross-functional teamDesign and measure tests for menu boards and other owned channels to understand and optimize customer behaviorGenerate accurate pre-campaign business performance metric projections, and analyze post-campaign data to evaluate performance, utilizing Buyer Flow Analyses, Customer Participation Rates, and other business KPIsAnswer strategic business questions through data-led insights and accurate analysesCommunicate learnings across the business to influence strategic decision making and generate sales growthCollaborate with the broader analytics team to implement new technologies and processes that enhance campaign measurement capabilities

The expected salary range for this role is $87,050 – $108,810 per year

Qualifications3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably with a focus on Business Analytics or FinanceBachelor's degree in business analytics, marketing, finance or related fieldStrong proficiency in data analysis tools such as  Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar platformsCreating data driven stories with strong data visualization skills and ability to pull insights from complex data-setsDemonstrated curiosity in understanding customer behavior and communicating insights through storytellingAbility to work in an ambiguous environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to establish and meet deadlines while prioritizing workloadOperates effectively in a team-based environment
