Bridgewater, NJ/Our Global Chemicals business has exceptional growth potential. Global Chemicals was built from several acquisitions and provides a full range of analytical reagents and discovery chemicals to Thermo Fisher’s core research markets worldwide. Global Chemicals has 14 operational facilities in the US, Europe, and Asia, and sells a significant portion of its products through Thermo Fisher customers channels group in major Western markets.

What will you do?

Direct supervision of employees including recruitment, performance management and training.Develop and empower employees through effective and consistent communication.Responsible for maintaining acceptable warehouse metrics including (Safety performance, quality assurance, operation lead times, on time shipments and shippable backorder).Partner with the planning and production personnel on the flow and organization of materials through the production to shipping process.Maintain a high level of customer service with other departments and provide feedback on any issues, material availability, etc. in a timely manner.Adhere to safety policies and practices within the department and facility. Contribute to the overall organized appearance and cleanliness of hard goods storage areas to ensure a smooth workflow.Track and respond to shortages reported from the manufacturing floor.
