This Supervisor position is part of the Equipment, Metrology and Assembly team located in Coralville, IA and performs work on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. Shift: Weekend, Friday-Sunday, approximately 6:00am-6:30pm (flexible start time) In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Supervise and perform the responsibilities of technicians and Shift Lead, collaborate with production departments to ensure task execution alignment. Set the technical direction by assigning tasks in accordance with shop DM needs. + Must be willing to provide emergency repair and maintenance support outside of normal working hours. + Maintains shop order/cleanliness and approves and updates timecards. + Ensure compliance with SOPs and workplace safety programs + Execute hiring, evaluation, and discipline for staff as needed. Accept responsibility for the direction, control, or planning of an activity. + Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values. + Other duties as assigned. The essential requirements of the job include: + High school diploma with at least 4+ years of related technical experience, preferably at IDT. + Working knowledge of electrical, controls, pneumatics, mechanical, fluidics, and optical devices. + Demonstrate working proficiency in decision making skills; capable of using experience and judgment to perform tasks and repairs when instructions are not available. + Demonstrate ability to learn, deploy, and document root cause analysis and investigations related to equipment breakdowns. + Performs other duties as assigned ​Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Must have the ability to travel to other Coralville Iowa locations. + Exerting 50-100 lbs. of force occasionally or 25-50 lbs. frequently. + Must be comfortable working with computers and data. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Leading a process, team, or activity, escalating issues to upper management, showing ownership and accountability. + Seeking solutions to overcome barriers, functional Microsoft Office skills, functional SAP skills or quick learner, ability to encourage and facilitate cooperation, teamwork, and pride.
