Overview Supervisor, Helping Hands Part-Time (3 Days) with Benefits Farmingdale, New York Helping Hands, a program offered through Catholic Health Home Care, addresses the needs of the frail, elderly, or disabled in the Riverhead community by providing non-medical in-home support services. Through the Helping Hands program, we enable our elderly and disabled community members to remain safely and independently in their homes. The Supervisor of the Helping Hands Program is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, staff, and services provided within the program, ensuring adherence to grant requirements and program goals. This position requires a skilled leader who can manage resources effectively, supervise a team of homemakers, and collaborate with other service providers and community organizations to deliver high-quality support to program participants. The Supervisor will be instrumental in maintaining program compliance, monitoring progress, and reporting outcomes to stakeholders and funding agencies. Job Details The successful candidate must meet the following minimum requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and other software tools for reporting and documentation. Empathetic, detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality care to vulnerable populations. Supervisory experience preferred.
