There is an exciting career opportunity available for a Supervisor, Laboratory Services, JMCRS within the Transgenic Genotyping Service (TGS). The position is responsible for day-to-day operations in a high throughput genotyping laboratory including safety, productivity, data accuracy, data quality, training, and performance management. TGS generates thousands of genotypes per week via multiple PCR techniques and utilizes various pieces of laboratory equipment.
The salary range is $68,344 - $99,099. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
Oversee a team of Laboratory Technologists in TGS. Manage their workload, training, performance, and development.Ensuring safety procedures and protocols are adhered toDirect report responsibility; conflict resolution, mentoring, coaching, and team & staff development.Manage individual and team performance utilizing KPIs.Workload management and prioritization. Balance competing priorities and ensure appropriate coverage across all genotyping platforms.Customer ServiceQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences or related field or equivalent experience. Strong working knowledge of molecular genetics and genotyping procedures.Three years of experience in a high throughput environment where quality, efficiency and continuous improvement were imperative to success.Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and mentor in a team environmentDemonstrated experience with resolving conflicts with diplomacy and tactDemonstrated ability to create and contribute to a positive, professional, high-performance environmentAbout JAX:
