About the role:
TheMaintenance Supervisoris responsible for the coordination and control of technical maintenance work, preventative maintenance, and equipment reliability for the American Canyon Manufacturing facility. You will supervise and develop the maintenance crew. The Maintenance supervisor is conscious and understanding of food and employee safety and ensures application in his/her daily functions.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Supervise engineering and technical workflow as well as support, guide, and challenge production priorities and improve efficiencies including continuous improvements and analysis.
+ Improve efficiencies, including continuous improvements with tracking and analysis of KPIs, including but not limited to Unscheduled downtime maintenance/technical, MTBF/MTTR (time/failures), #WO/type,
+ Schedule repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
+ Prepare and supervise site preventative maintenance programs and improve PM Compliance and effectiveness.
+ Coordinate spare parts inventory with cycle counts and measures, inventory accuracy, deviations (ex. location, missing) tracking, and maintenance/technical maintenance budget.
+ Coordinate outside contractors for the facility.
+ Meet/exceed requirements for food and employee safety.
About you:
+ Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or related field, or Associate degree plus 2-5 years of specialized experience in mechanical/electromechanical and electrical experience in a high-speed manufacturing plant environment (preferably food industry).
+ Minimum 2 years of experience supervising a team, department, or personnel.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision, and oversee the work of contractors, 3rd party engineering providers, and direct reports.
+ Knowledge of budgets and financial statements is a plus
+ Proficiency with programs: Microsoft, Google, ERP (SAP preferred) and CMMS (Maximo preferred)
+ Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
+ Team-oriented and collaborative with the ability to lead a team and accomplish technical department goals effectively
+ Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
