Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering to join our team in Brecksville!
You will be overseeing the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. You will also ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. This role acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products.

Your Challenge:
Assist with ensuring safe work conditions throughout the workplace.
Ensure all staff are working within company Quality standards.
Supervise and delegate tasks to Manufacturing Engineering staff including Manufacturing Engineers, CNC Programmers, Interns
Effectively and professionally communicate to other departments including Quality, Finance, Human Resources.
Establishment and enforcement of all company policies throughout the Manufacturing Engineering Department
Develop/manage budgets and approval of expenses
Manage the responsibility for the supervision and direction of engineers performing manufacturing or industrial engineering functions
Coordinate and control engineering personnel performing manufacturing and industrial engineering assignments and provides technical assistance in establishing operational procedures and methods.
Train and supervises engineering personnel during the preparation of bids and proposals, Cost/Schedule Control System criteria and work measurement assignments.
Develop systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products.
Develop standard work procedures for all key operations functions including but not limited to Machine Shop, Material Handling, Assembly, Testing, Shipping.
Facilitate completion of time studies on all processes and maintenance of routing standards.
Drive process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
Manage and maintains company asset inventory.
Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain key performance indicators throughout Operations.
Facilitates selection and implementation of new Capital Equipment along with tooling, accessories and processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Expertise:
5+ years of experience in a similar role (supervisory experience preferred)
Extensive manufacturing experience with valves experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills
Must be self-motivated, results oriented, possess high degree of initiative and work well under pressure
