MAJOR FUNCTION: 

Manages the daily operations of the MRI department and other Medical Imaging areas if necessary. Supervises, instructs, evaluates, and coaches/counsels' employees. Maintains records and procedures for maintenance, in-service, education, radiation exposure reporting, timekeeping, employee evaluations, hiring, discipline and supplies for area.  Participates in MRI safety for staff, patients and other Inspira employees as well as physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

Graduate from an approved, accredited School of Radiology. 5 years' experience as an MRI Technologist. Supervisory experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

ARRT required, current licensure by the State of New Jersey. Advanced certification in MRI required. AHA CPR certified. IV certified or within 90 days.

Knowledge & Skills:

Demonstrates knowledge of and follows hospital policies and procedures regarding abuse and neglect. Must have vast knowledge of all areas of MRI and have the ability to work independently. Physical Requirements:
