Supervisor, New Homes Service

OVERVIEW

New Homes is looking for a Supervisor that will lead an in-house team of system performance coordinators in providing an impeccable customer experience through top-level system diagnostics. This position will concentrate on the Pre-PTO pipeline in relation to activations, commissioning and system performance issues. They will also oversee process improvement, training and job automation. Success will be measured through their ability to execute on New Homes initiatives through producing an impeccable performance team that will drastically reduce the need for service performance visits post close of escrow.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Coach, train and mentor employees to help them achieve their goals and meet department expectations 

Remotely monitor and diagnose solar system issues.

Managing the workflow of their employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks

Create content for training and updates 

Assist in the presentation of training materials to the team regarding Sunrun equipment and process updates 

Create proper reports, metrics and dashboards to allow crisp management of the Project Operations Team and work with team to address areas of improvement

Drive and promote automation and technological advancements which lead to enhanced customer experience through operation excellence 

Work with New Homes leadership to understand pain-points in the process and create solutions to address these issues 

Communicate project status, milestones, and issues

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years supervisory experience strongly preferred

2+ years of experience in the solar industry required 

1+ years experience in customer experience/interaction preferred 

Strong Organizational, Problem Solving and Leadership skills

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Goal-oriented and self-motivated

Ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment

Moderate Excel/Spreadsheets skill preferred

Highly proficient with applications such as MS Office, G Suite, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Oracle, Salesforce including an ability to learn new IT systems

Ability to meet deadlines and set others to keep deadlines

Ability to work well with remotely-based field employees

Ability to communicate well with other departments

Ability to explain complex or technical concepts using simple language to meet the needs of diverse audiences

Ability to deliver important information through effective mediums and track results

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$90,556.99 to $120,742.65

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.  Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
