What Nuclear Manufacturing contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Works in compliance with all regulatory standards including EHS, cGMP, Radiation Safety, applicable FDA and pharmacy laws, DOT, and internal policies and interpretationsManages small group of staff to ensure manufacturing operationsConducts performance reviewsCreates employee schedules around manufacturing production hours and needsHandles facility budgeting.  Generates reports as it relates to financial performanceActs as Project Manager for investigational new drugsExecutes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements including Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with SOPsPerforms general maintenanceMaintains a sterile environment, including required cleaning of equipment and facilityWork in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure product/production expectations and demands are metAdheres to a large volume of SOPs, with the ability to adapt to process improvementsUtilizes technology to support manufacturing processesMaintain qualifications for production and/or quality in order to release product



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred4-8 years of experience preferredAbility to obtain and maintain current qualifications to include production and/or qualityDemonstrated success in managing people and leading a teamStrong communication skillsAbility to lift up to 55 lbs Ability to rotate shifts and/or schedules as business need requires.  This will include weekends, holidays and on call responsibilitiesDemonstrated experience success at managing a cross functional team requiredExperience with the manufacturing of FDG and Sodium Flouride is preferredDemonstrated project management experience strongly preferredExperience working in compliance with all regulatory standards including Environmental Health and Safety, cGMP, Radiation Safety, applicable FDA and pharmacy laws, DOT, and internal policies and interpretationsPast experience conducting performance reviews preferredPast experience creating employee schedules around manufacturing production hours and needs preferredPrior budgeting experience preferredPast financial reporting experience preferred

Anticipated salary range: $89,200 - $133,875
