Supervisor, Provider Relations

Position Purpose: Supervise and coordinate the operations of the provider relations department

Supervise the day-to-day workflow of the provider relations function in compliance with health plan, corporate and state policies, procedures and guidelinesTrain and update staff regarding policies and proceduresReceive and respond to emergent provider issuesEnsure standards are met and maintainedPlan, coordinate and participate in scheduled and unscheduled meetings with providers to conduct orientations, train providers on health plan policies and procedures, deliver materials or inquire about contracting with our health planReview provider change forms for accuracyAssist in the resolution of claims payment and provider set-up issuesCoordinate and attend health plan sponsored provider functionsAssist in the development of policies and proceduresUpdate and maintain Provider ManualPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsRemote 90% and 10% in office meetings and trainings

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Business or equivalent experience. 4+ years of provider relations, marketing, customer service and/or claims processing/billing experience in a managed care environment. Supervisory or lead experience preferred. Knowledge of managed care and state Medicaid program guidelines.

For Fidelis Care only: Must have valid driver license, personal vehicle and ability to travel.

For Health Net of California only: Job may require you to have a valid driver license, personal vehicle and ability to travel.

Pay Range: $67,400.00 - $121,300.00 per year
