VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital is actively seeking a Veterinary Assistant Supervisor to help oversee clinic operations and supervise our Veterinary Assistants.

Veterinary Assistant Supervisor Role will include but are not limited to: 

Directing work flow on the floor Cultivate an inclusive work environment and strong hospital cultureWork cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospitalHelp with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills Conduct staff meetingsProvide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience Mentoring technicians within the department Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner Refining and implementing protocolsEnsure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff

You will work alongside our Medical Director, Hospital Manager, and Department Supervisors to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently and fosters a winning environment. 

VETERINARY ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATION

3+ years of clinical experience Team leadership experiencePassion for Veterinary Medicine Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
