Job Overview:
Supervises the daily operations of the Telecommunications Department including; monitoring daily productivity management and monthly financial review; coordinates departmental staffing; and maintains the responsibility of employee evaluations; disciplinary process and training.
Insure that Communications is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Required:
+ High School Degree Required
+ Telephone operator experience helpful but not necessary Command of the English language
+ Successful completion of Site General Orientation
+ Successful completion of Department Specific Orientation

+ Full-Time
+ Days
Essential Functions:
+ Consistency of work performance; Trains/Orients new employees; provides instruction/guidance as necessary. Prepares daily staffing schedules, follows all policies and procedures to personnel as needed. Makes recommendations regarding employee performance and disciplinary actions.
+ Effectively supervises the day to day operations within the Department of Telecommunications. Responsible for managing the daily productivity reporting variance justifications. Responsible for the departments operating budget.
+ Maintains and reviews all job descriptions and performance evaluations. Per established policies ensures proper disciplinary action is followed for infractions as well as act as first step in the Peer Review process.
+ Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the hospital equipment and makes recommendations concerning repairs working with IT.
+ Other duties as assigned.
