Dining Hall Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dining Hall Supervisor to manage a team of dining staff at Winnick Dining Hall. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of the dining hall and maintaining high standards of food service.

ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the dining hall staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Oversee the use and maintenance of food service equipment.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the dining hall.Provide training and guidance to dining staff.Handle customer service inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.Maintain a clean and organized dining environment.Essential SkillsStrong supervisory skills with at least 6 months of experience in a food service environment.Proficiency in operating and maintaining food service equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a dining hall setting is preferred.Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. The role involves working with food service equipment and interacting with dining hall staff and customers. The work schedule may include weekends and evenings. Dress code is appropriate for a dining service setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Greenvale, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
