for children and adults with multiple developmental disabilities and complex medical needs such as cerebral palsy acute brain injury neuromuscular disorders and autism spectrum disorders Each year more than children adults and their families receive services from the organizationAssists the Manager of Adult Services in overseeing related operations and provides supervision and leadership to all shift staff to ensure services meet professional practices and legal requirements Ensures that all persons receiving services are treated with dignity and respect Supports the development implementation and monitoring of individual plans IPs and provides opportunities for individualization independence and inclusionSupervision LeadershipProvide direct supervision and support for Personal Care Attendants and daily routines on assigned shiftsAssist with orientation training and in service for colleagues in accordance with DDS regulationsEnsure services are centered around individual needs and preferencesReview shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing for each dayAssist with completion of performance review for Personal Care AttendantsCompliance Quality ImprovementAssist with the development and implementation of quality improvement activitiesEnsure operational compliance with all applicable policies and proceduresComplete routine physical inspections of all sites and generate work orders as neededEnsure that all food and household supplies are maintainedHealth SafetyReview KardexMARTreatment Book dailyCoordinate health and medical appointments and follow upEnsure fire drills are completed and documented as requiredIdentify and report any safety concerns to the Manager of Adult ServicesHousehold ManagementAssist with meal Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transferdatemiddot Qualified for PSL and Medication Administration CertificationKnowledge of Healthcare and Disability ServicesUnderstanding of disability care person centered planning and legalregulatory requirementsFamiliar with individual plan IP development and implementationSupervisory and LeadershipExperience in supervising coaching and leading a teamSkilled in managing schedules and staffing for adequate coverageCritical Thinking and Problem SolvingStrong decision making in high pressure situationsAbility to address safety and operational issues effectivelyOrganizational and Time ManagementSkilled in handling multiple tasks and completing required documentationAbility to coordinate appointments and
