Job Overview

The Supervisor Automation Facilities is primarily responsible for supervising the industrial sanitation program, the facility maintenance of the entire campus including grounds and on-site detached buildings and supporting the manager automation facilities by ensuring no gaps in coverage, planning and scheduling work for the technicians as required, and serving as the decision maker and support liaison during specified days/hours.

Duties & Responsibilities Performs and/or coordinates facility and grounds management including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, security access, and emergency equipment using both internal and external resources. Provides technical support of operation during specified days/times to ensure equipment is running at full capacity, using full extent of internal and external support resources, as needed. Performs system downtime (off-shift) inspections Supervises the industrial sanitation program for the automation equipment in compliance with corporate quality requirements. Trains and develops technicians, mechanics, operators, and engineers within the assigned automated warehouse facility. Ensures all work within responsibility is planned and scheduled through SAP plant maintenance platform; ensures compliance of inventory parts stockroom compliance through SAP plant maintenance platform – inventory cycle counts, procuring materials, maintaining MRP data, MDM. Supervises, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching and training; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities 2+ years of technical troubleshooting experience and root cause analysis;  2+ years of automated warehouse, manufacturing, and/or facility maintenance Excellent planning and organizational skills High degree of professionalism Management of others Ability to influence decision-making of peers Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization Promotes a good working relationship with supervisors, co-workers and staff Proactive in nature, actively participates, and is self-motivated Encourages and motivates others Continually demonstrates a level of integrity and professional demeanor in keeping with the Company's mission and values.  Excellent analytical problem-solving skills Clearly communicates complex concepts with all levels of the organization Minimum Qualifications 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years work experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering Technical or engineering degree in lieu of bachelor’s, or equivalent combination of education and work experience Work Environment
