Shift: 8AM-5PM

Summary:
Provides for the effective supervision and management of all personnel and resources within an assigned area of the department. Coordinates the activity of assigned personnel as necessary, to optimize department services. Assists in the planning, implementation and coordination of administrative functions of the area assigned. Provides clinical direction and consultation to mental health staff. Assumes responsibility for the mental health education and treatment of a defined group of patients in the Emergency Department as well as the Child and Adult Outpatient Clinics. Collaborate with Psychiatrists and colleagues as needed. Patients include children through the geriatric population.
Qualifications:
Required: Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or other behavioral related degree. Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Supervisory level licensure: LISW-S or LPCC-S Two years post-masters experience with trauma and substance use treatment interventions Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Prior experience in psychiatric evaluation/disposition highly desirable. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
