Qualifications: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in exercise physiology or healthcare leadership. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Exercise physiology certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Two (2) years in related field SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Leadership and organizational skills, Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others, capacity to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures, demonstrated compassion and caring in dealing with others. Essential Functions: + Performs essential job functions of exercise physiologist. + Completes performance appraisals and HSL conversations with direct reports in conjunction with the department manager. + Collaborates with department manager for all disciplinary and formal coaching of direct reports. + Coordination and facilitation of monthly staff meetings and attendance tracking. + Maintains departmental logs and audits. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Coordinate with the department Manager to complete annual evaluations and any needed HSL conversations on cardiac rehab staff. + Responsible for Kronos for all cardiac rehab staff including editing and final sign off. + Maintains current department policy management. + Spend 50% of hours working as clinical exercise physiologist and 50% of the hours working in an administrative role. + Coordinate with department Manager for all disciplinary action and formal coaching that may occur for direct reports. + Responsible for scheduling of staff, while maintaining the SVR.
