Supervisor & Carrier Planner - Food Tank team

C.H. Robinson is looking for a talented and driven Supervisor & Carrier Planner to join our growing Food Tank team.

In this role, you will focus on transportation planning across the EU with food-grade cisterns, optimizing operations and driving performance in an expanding product line. Leadership experience is not an obligatory requirement—we are looking for exceptional talent with essential expertise in food tank transport coordination and a strong drive to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

Talent Management

Contribute to the branch business plan by providing insights and performance updates

Coach and guide employees to improve behaviors, productivity, and results

Monitor team performance metrics and provide individual feedback and support

Assist in setting and reviewing team and individual performance goals

Foster engagement through employee feedback channels

Participate in recruiting, developing, and aligning diverse talent

Execution

Coordinate transport planning across the EU with food-grade cisterns

Ensure effective daily and weekly stand-ups with clear, actionable updates

Leverage analytics to manage performance and enhance operational quality

Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to drive decision-making

Champion change management and support adoption of new tools and processes

Relationship Management

Build and manage strong internal relationships to ensure quality service execution

Address carrier issues and problem resolution effectively

Collaborate with peers to enhance operational processes and service improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in coordinating transportation operations within the food tanker sector

Leadership skills or a strong willingness to grow, including mentoring, coaching, and providing constructive feedback

Proven ability to motivate, influence, and drive team performance

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make decisions and improve results

Thrives under deadlines with a collaborative and results-oriented approach

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering team engagement and development

Highly driven and committed to creating a positive team culture

Fluent in English and Polish
