As a Clinic Supervisor at MercyOne, you will The Residency RN Clinic Supervisor assists the Director in the planning, organizing and directing of the operations of the Family Medicine Clinic. This position is responsible for day-to-day clinic operations in the absence of the Director.

General Requirements:
Trains and monitors clinical staff to ensure that protocols in specific areas comply with federal/state regulatory agencies as applicable.
With guidance from the Director, is responsible to motivate and evaluate activities of clinic employees, to ensure clinic goals and expectations are met.
Monitors and maintains licensure certification requirements for assigned staff are met.
Creatively seeks new ideas to stay within budget guidelines while constantly improving the quality of health care delivered.
Ensures charging/ reimbursement changes are integrated into every level of clinic operations by coordinating with the clinic team.
Responsible for clinical documentation audits
Assists the Director in developing, implementing and monitoring clinic objectives, policies, procedures, and standards.
Participates in personal and staff development activities and orientation as requested.
With guidance from the Director, is responsible for personnel activities that include interviewing, hiring, evaluating, counseling and terminating. Responsible for directly evaluating and disciplining staff members.
Supervises clinical employee human resource activities (i.e. Kronos, payroll, time and attendance, required education, employee changes, corporate compliance, LOA, FMLA, performance appraisals)
Education:
Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a health care.
Licensed RN in the State of Iowa.
Three years administrative/management experience in clinic or physician office setting preferred
CPR Certification (obtained within 6 months of start date).
