The Cost Accountant has responsibility for completing accounting transactions in accordance with accounting principles, collecting, compiling financial information, performing billing procedures, and preparing accurate and timely financial reports and accounting statements.

Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.OPERATIONS
Perform General Ledger reconciliation, and address field questions during close. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as needed. Fixed asset controls, depreciation, and analyzing variations of profit and loss income statements and prepare reports on findings. Reconcile and record accrual and / or adjustments for balance sheet accounts. Research reconciliation differences and multiple issues as they arise. Performs other general accounting responsibilities such as management reports, auditor inquiries, budgets and other special projects as may be delegated by Plant Controller Liaises with the field operations to find proper accounting treatment for transactions. Prepare AFE's and monitor routings, including updating AFE forecast quarterly. Prepare Product Costing Records and reconcile intercompany transactions, as well as facilitate mismatch reports.COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external. Facilitate the delivery of strategic advice and support to key business stakeholders. Provide timely and appropriate information and support to relevant internal customers. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and cross functional teams.FINANCIAL

Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure. REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, and or another business-related field 5-8 years of prior cost accounting experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to work under pressure, independently and follow instructions. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Strong math aptitude and ability to work accurately with numbers. Excellent organizational, written and interpersonal skills, attention to detail Advanced ability to evaluate alternative means of treating transactions. Experience of working closely with operational and other non-financial personnel Knowledge/experience of Sarbanes Oxley and other SEC requirements Knowledge of industry related concepts and terminology Proven experience in adapting to change and flexibility.
