DescriptionEssential Duties And Responsibilities

Hire, train and evaluate personnel. Ensure compliance with internal control system and Louisiana State Police regulations. Assign supervisory work schedule. Observe drop and count process for compliance with internal controls and Louisiana State Police regulations. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities

Is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Count Services Department. Also directly supervises all non-supervisory employees in the absence of supervisors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/Or Experience

Associate’s Degree (A. A.) from 2-year college or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory experience required.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Additional Duties/ Job Dimensions

Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Bally’s from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally’s Attendance Policy. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes all shifts, weekends and holiday periods
