Overview The Supervisor Energy Efficiency Programs provides front-line supervision and direction to the Program Managers and Program Associates that support LG&E and KU Energy's energy efficiency customer offerings. This position provides insight and guidance into the interpretation of company policies, procedures, regulatory tariffs, and business practices impacting energy efficiency programs. This position could be located in Louisville or Lexington, KY. #LGE&KU #INDLGE Responsibilities •Provides coaching, guidance, and supervision to the Energy Efficiency Program Managers and Program Associates in the areas of company policies, regulatory tariff analysis/interpretation, customer participation, program promotion and awareness, personal development, and other employee and customer engagement activities. •Trains Energy Efficiency Program Managers and Program Associates to ensure that each person has the necessary tools to effectively deliver and support the program design and content requirements established by the strategic objectives of the Company. •Creates, maintains, and updates team process documents, job aids, and related materials. •Supports with the development of energy efficiency program processes and guidelines to strengthen knowledge retention, customer service consistency, and best practices. •Manages the centralized services that support the energy efficiency programs including vendor engagement and performance, internal awareness, and processes to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. •In collaboration with departmental leadership, assist in the development and implementation of team strategies, assists with reporting, community engagement efforts, and oversight of current and potential new customer offerings. •Develops and maintains reporting tools to monitor the program performance against metrics. •Identifies and recommends areas for team or individual efficiencies, automated processes, or improved communication internally and externally. •Assists in the reporting and tracking of departmental metrics, the annual business plan, and monthly budgetary expenses and reconciliations. •Works collaboratively with other departments to outline comprehensive marketing plans and tools to raise awareness of energy efficiency opportunities with each customer group and program. •Develops team member performance evaluations and completes periodic performance reviews. •Leads the procurement process for energy efficiency programs. •Develops and maintains ongoing communication with state and community energy efficiency partners and other key public/private stakeholder groups. •Represents the company at business events and marketing events/conferences to promote the company’s offerings. •Performs other duties as assigned by Manager. •Performs other duties as assigned •Complies with all policies and standards Qualifications Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related field. Eight plus years of experience in project management, program design and contractor management is required. Three plus years of experience in energy efficiency program management; Demonstrated experience in interpersonal relations, project and people management, and strategic thinking capabilities Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communications, presentations, and meeting facilitation is required; Must possess a valid vehicle driver’s license. Preferred Experience Master’s degree preferred Demonstrated understanding of utility business, and related procedures and business practices, commercial/industrial rate structures are preferred. General Energy Efficiency Program management practice and work within is required Successful candidates will rely upon their self-starting initiative to think strategically and work to set goals and achieve success with the company’s customer offerings while providing exceptional customer service Effective time management and project planning skills Demonstrated proficiency in the use of database applications, customer care system and MS Office Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certification is preferred.
