This individual supervises the day to day operations of the Environmental Services Department. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Northeast Health System may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among locations (Beverly, LOCD, or AGH), depending on hospital necessities, department requirements and applicable industry standards.** 1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 2. English language skills that allow for: effective patient service; coordination with other members of the patient care team; and two-way communication regarding cleaning assignments, training on established procedures, policies and organizational standards, and the safe use of cleaning agents and equipment. 3. 1-2 years’ experience as a Service Associate or similar experience in Environmental Services is required. 1-2 years’ experience as a Lead Service Associate is preferred. **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
