Job Summary To assist the manager in maintaining a high-quality standard of Housekeeping by informing the manager on the condition of all assigned areas and by training, supervising and motivating the Environmental Services Personnel to be sure all schedules are completed. This role will be CHEST Certified and will help build an EVS department structure that includes quality control, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. (JCAHO and DOH Readiness). Proficient in the Epic Bed Management program and help with CHEST Training. #READ Qualifications Education Requirements Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role. High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education Experience Relevant Experience Certification and Licensure HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) Certification within 90 days of hire Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) within 60 days of hire.
