Responsibilities
Selects trains and evaluates staff; Establishes and maintains department staffing and schedules ensuring appropriate number of qualified/competent staff are available while maintaining cost effective staffing mixes and patterns; Ensures staff maintain facility with a high level of cleanliness and that department guidelines are followedMonitors bed discharge cleaning needs and ensures that discharge beds are cleaned in a timely manner and with a high degree of quality; Monitors daily equipment use cleaning and maintenance to ensure that all equipment is maintained in an appropriate working conditionMaintains department quality improvement program and oversees the quality of service delivered ensuring that units are survey ready at all timesSupervises the departmental inventory and allocation of resources as appropriate and ensures these follow hospital guidelines
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Associate’s Degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experienceMinimum three (3) years environmental services experience
