I. SUMMARY OF POSITION PURPOSE Plans and implements sanitation activities for assigned hospital areas. II. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Able to perform work of Tech I, Tech II, Tech III and Team Leader · Knows and understands cleaning procedures for different finishes in area of responsibility. · Proficient in use of janitorial equipment · Assigns and evaluates daily work of employees in assigned areas. · Coordinates with Training Coordinator and Assists in education and training of employees. · Coordinates and implements special cleaning projects with department managers and employees. · Utilizes Digital Housekeeper to assign and monitor daily assignments, quality and project work with employees. · Assists in quality assurance activities of the department. Completes quality inspections on all employees monthly. · Interview for open job positions using the Target Selection interview process. Qualifications: High school graduate or GED required. 3-4 years experience in Environmental Services or supervision is desired.
