Position Summary As Supervisor - EVS you will be responsible for delivering on the project and operating targets for the environmental services department. Deliverables include service quality, and supervise the team performance. Additionally, relationship management with our key hotel partners is a critical component of the role, as the Environmental Services departments form a significant portion of shared services across the property.Primary Responsibility • Coordinate daily tasks within the assigned scope; • Coordinate closely with departmental staff to ensure delivery of guest services; • Ensure the deliverables to properties are carried out efficiently and effectively; • Ensure the Department and Specific Operating Procedures are adhered to for ensuring maximum comforts for guests; • Coordinate the preventive maintenance program to ensure the upkeep of the Buildings and its Operating Equipment's; • Coordinate and conduct regular inspection of buildings to ensure strict compliance with government, fire and safety regulations and license requirements. Recommend and/or take action to ensure compliance; • Ensures staff are knowledgeable about new operation techniques to increase productivities and maximize guest services for the hotel. • Implement and administer an energy management program; • Ensures control practices/systems are adhered; • Perform all functions as and when required by the management within legally permitted scope.Requirements • Secondary school graduated preferred; • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in hotel or related industry; • Solid working knowledge in hotel or related operations; • Strong oral communication skills.
