What you’ll do as a Field Engineer Supervisor Provide on the job training for employees working under your direction on construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Assign daily tasks to in-house field engineers. Perform audits of submittals from field engineers to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices. Review daily production reports, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate for areas walked out. Verify submitted Daily Production Reports for accuracy and approve recorded production for billing purposes. Willingness to work shifts as assigned. Other duties as assigned. What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older. Authorization to work in the United States for this company. Possess a valid driver's license (class "C" minimum) or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position (possibly class "B" - light commercial). Provide verifiable evidence of experience in CATV construction field and prior supervisory experience in construction or related field. Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions, able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift, standing and walking 4-8 hours daily. Occasionally: lift and carry 50- 60 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and repetitve motion (grasping and manipulation).
