You will execute financial processes and activities as well as analytics to support strategic business decisions. **What You Will Do:** + This position supports the GES Global Facilities organization and reports to the Sr. Finance Manager. + Learn key financial processes and activities, including budgeting, analytics, business support and general accounting. + Leveraging Abbott Shared Services organization, executes monthly close activities, provides clear and meaningful financial reporting and commentary. Ensures compliance and champions internal controls and procedures. + Have full responsibility for coordinating, consolidating, and developing Plan, LBEs and other financial forecasts for all aspects of Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and the Global Facilities group enhancing strategic decision making. Help manage risks and opportunities using external and internal signals and data. + Drive continuous improvements and simplifications in financial and business processes. + Work both independently and in groups in a variety of situations requiring analytical and critical thinking skills. + Prepare ad-hoc analysis and preparation of review materials for presentations to Business and Finance leaders. + Partner with the business to review and analyze projects. Heavily involved with preparation, analytical support, and review of Global Facilities Lease Requests for Capital Expenditure (RCEs). + Assumes a leadership role in offering ideas and recommendations for continuous improvements and simplifications in financial and business processes. + Actively promote positive team environment. Participate in talent development opportunities including training and mentoring. The base pay for this position is $85,300.00 – $170,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
