Under the general direction of the Manager, Health Information, directs and coordinates activities of the data integrity and compliance monitoring staff in HIM to assure efficient workflow; Ensures accurate monitoring and reporting on documentation standards compliance for the medical center; Performs daily monitoring of systems and workflow; Monitors productivity, maintains appropriate staffing levels and supervises staff; Trains staff; and assists in the development of policies and procedures and understands the integration of all systems that affect department operations.

Required qualifications:
Associate's Degree or Associate's Degree in progress, from an accredited education institution If Associate’s Degree is in progress, it must be completed within three years from date of hire into the position Epic HIM certification upon 1 year of hire. upon hire: National Registered Health Information Administrator - American Health Information Management Association. Or upon hire: National Registered Health Information Technician - American Health Information Management Association. 2 years acute care Health Information Management experience 1 year supervisory experience required –or- three years progressively responsible Health Information Management experience may be considered in lieu of supervisory experiencePreferred qualifications:
