Supervisor Maintenance
Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our hotel facilities. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of maintenance, grounds, and water feature technicians, encouraging a culture of excellence and adherence to preventative maintenance protocols. As a leader in our maintenance team, you’ll ensure the safe and efficient functioning of guest rooms, common areas, recreational facilities, and crucial equipment such chillers, boilers, and air compressors. Your hands-on approach will ensure not only efficiency but also adherence to our detailed preventative maintenance programs.

Schedule Details:
Our facilities maintenance department operates 7 days per week. Maintenance Team Members at The Point at Poipu may work varying shifts, but primarily will be scheduled from 7:30am – 4pm and/or 1:30pm – 10:00PM. 

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Supervises day to day operations and provides mentorship and leadership to department team members. Visually inspects, operates, and maintains various guestrooms, common area, maintenance of pools, driveways, BBQ areas, athletic playing areas, playgrounds and parking areas and associated mechanical equipment systems throughout the complex. Applies knowledge of building mechanical systems such as, but not limited to, water distribution, fire detection, air conditioning, swimming pools as required. Schedules Preventative Maintenance projects and daily assignments. Observes routine grounds and pools maintenance needs, set priorities, schedules and makes work assignments. Interprets blueprints and technical manuals for upkeep of building/mechanical areas (e.g. pump rooms) and maintenance tools. Performs various maintenance assignments and performs quality inspections. Monitors, maintains and tests Emergency and Life Safety systems as required align with local regulatory codes. Other related duties as assigned.
