We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and take our maintenance team to the next level! You will be coaching and mentoring a team responsible for the facility and equipment repairs, as well as proactive preventative maintenance activities at the Livingston facility. You will ensure compliance with all quality objectives, safety programs and achievement of production throughput.
What you’ll do:
Lead a team that will strive for a strong balance with proactive and reactive maintenance responsibilities, while documenting and maintaining maintenance records consistently and accurately. Partner and collaborate with operations to determine root cause of failures and appropriate corrective actions, while identifying processes improvement opportunities. Drive and coordinate preventative maintenance, repair and services of plant equipment. While exploring predictive and autonomous maintenance strategies. Establish, maintain and enforce effective safety program within the maintenance department which includes contractors. Manage maintenance supplies and inventory, ensuring availability of necessary parts.
What you’ll bring:
Ideally 5+ years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry. This strong maintenance experience coupled with at least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools, including CMMS and basic knowledge of AutoCAD and programming. Your ability to work collaboratively across departments and build strong relationships with team members and management on and off the plant floor. Process improvement experience accompanied by experience developing standard operating procedures.

Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 USD. Pay is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
