The role encompasses a comprehensive set of responsibilities across various domains:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. At least 10 years of Nursing experience At least 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in radiation oncology nursing Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) Experience as a charge nurse. Demonstrates a friendly and compassionate approach to cultivate a trusting patient-healthcare provider relationship. Advocates strongly for patients by effectively communicating treatment plans to interdisciplinary teams and family members. Possesses a high level of emotional intelligence to ensure a positive patient and caregiver care experience, including the ability to simplify medical terminology and concepts for patients and caregivers.
