We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Responsible for the general supervision of Respiratory Therapy Staff. Responsible for the clinical performance including; shift assignments and workload distribution; maintaining ICU standards and guidelines; training and orienting staff; computer training; and setting up in-services as needed. Verifies and signs off pay roll. Assists the Director in the interviewing, hiring, discipline and performance evaluations of staff. Performs patient care as needed; Assists in the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures. Performs departmental quality assurance and performance improvement including routine equipment calibration and functions checks; performance improvement data collection and analysis. Maintains communications with in the department and with other departments; Performs clinical functions within the scope of practice of the department. **What qualifications you will need:** + Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) + Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree + Licensed Respiratory Therapist, or State Registered Respiratory Therapist + 3 years relevant clinical experience Required Research Medical Center (https://researchmedicalcenter.com) is a 585+ bed hospital.
