Lead a great team of Patient Access Assistants who are responsible for appointment registration for CentraCare patients, among other functions. This includes positions within the hospital and clinic settings. 

Summary

Responsible for the training and continuing education needs of Patient Access staff. Responsible for coaching staff in all Patient Access areas regarding accuracy and completeness of their work and for educating all staff within designated department and floating in other departments as needed. Performs registration duties requiring independent analysis, exercise of judgement, and detailed knowledge of all Patient Access departments and hospital procedures related to work performed. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Schedule 

Fulltime | 80 hours every two weeks Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM  On-call for staff absences and questions

Pay and Benefits

Pay based on experience starting at $22.72 per hour Pay range: $22.72 - $34.09 per hour Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Post high school business training preferred. Minimum of 2 years of revenue cycle experience or 3 years of leadership experience required. Medical terminology preferred. Management experience preferred. Knowledge of third-party payers, (ADT) admissions, discharges, transfer system preferred. Computer knowledge, keyboard skills and other office equipment required. Must have working knowledge of all Prelude/ADT/Scheduling/Insurance authorization, referral and RTE
