Supervisor Patient Access

The Supervisor, Patient Access is responsible for the 24/7 supervision of the on-site Access Services staff, which may also include PBX, patient scheduling, clinic registrars and off-site locations. Hospital Access Services departments facilitate patient, visitor and provider interactions within their ministry including access to both information and care. This position is responsible for staff scheduling and coverage, implementing a standardized approach in line with the vision of Revenue Cycle and accountable for quality results, caregiver engagement, and patient experience for the ministry. The supervisor will also oversee and supervise all areas of department operations, and ensure adherence to regulations, facilitating appropriate disaster response, as well as coordination with facility clinical and administrative leadership for processes integrated with Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare related. upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM). upon hire: Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE). upon hire: Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP). 3 years Experience in an integrated healthcare system in any aspect of access services or a related position. 1 year Personnel management, supervisory or lead experience of a team(s) of 5 or more; 2 years experience preferred. Demonstrates experience designing and implementing process changes, and successfully implementing standardized operational improvements, in collaboration with other leadership.
