Supervisor Production 2nd Shift Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work). Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members in daily start up meeting. Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed. Train and monitor employee performance to ensure operator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets. Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report.  Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel.  Ensure job training and daily job rotations arein place and enforced. Ensure compliance of the UAW contract, team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs and procedures that pertain to production team members.  Monitor quality of product throughout the production process. Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives. Daily review of process and people to identify andimplement CI opportunities Quality System: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Quality requirements.  Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, applyand meet all function-related EHS requirements. Product Safety: Understand, apply and meetall function-related Product Safety requirements. Compliance: Understand, apply and meetall function-related Compliance requirements. Information Security: Understand, apply andmeet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements. Must comply with all company policies and procedures.  Employee musthave the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time. Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels. Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote)

Qualifications 

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent/some college

3-5 MinimumYears of Experience with Production.  1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.  Computer literacy.  Excellent oral communication skills.  Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
