Supervising Production Operations:
Overseeing day-to-day production activities to ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.Ensuring that production targets, timelines, and quality standards are met.Monitoring and controlling the production process, identifying areas for improvement, and optimizing productivity.Team Management:
Managing a team of workers, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring work performance.Providing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and productivity.Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback for improvement.Safety and Compliance:
Ensuring that safety standards and regulations are followed to maintain a safe work environment.Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and responding to any incidents.Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.Quality Control:
Overseeing the production of goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Identifying defects or issues in the production process and taking corrective actions.Conducting inspections and quality audits, as well as maintaining records of quality checks.Resource Management:
Monitoring and managing resources such as machinery, and personnel to ensure the production process runs efficiently.Reporting and Documentation:
Maintaining records of production data, such as production rates, downtime, and any quality issues.Preparing daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production performance and presenting them to upper management.Identifying trends in production and recommending improvements.Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the production process, such as machinery malfunctions, delays, or resource shortages.Identifying root causes of problems and implementing effective solutions.Collaboration and Communication:
Communicating effectively with other departments (such as maintenance, engineering, and logistics) to ensure smooth operations.Working closely with managers to align production goals with company objectives. Qualifications Experience required for at least two years in manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing. Strong leadership skills to motivate and influence teamsGood communication skills: be able to run meetings/trainings, drive actions plans with many contributorsGood level competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a diverse multi-cultural team environmentEnglish (read, written, spoken) mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
