Responsibilities
The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor plans, develops and participates in the operation of the Rehab department to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the rehabilitation department and the organization, including but not limited to meeting the regulatory and/or accrediting agency requirements and supervising Staff. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor provides quality care to patients/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor addresses risk, provides prevention services, promotes health and wellness, and provides consultation and education. Interacts and practices in collaboration with a variety of professionals, participates in professional development and learning opportunities, and assists in departmental organization, growth, and planning.
Qualifications
Clinical degree and licensure as PT, OT and/or SLP. At least two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
Knowledge of organization's vision/mission/goals. Understanding of Performance Management process. Understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Communication facilitation and conflict resolution.
Staff development, coaching and interviewing. Budget management and fiscal operations.
Excellent customer service and awareness of diversity. Knowledge of policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of billing and coding as it relates to Rehab Services Knowledge of APTA, AOTA, ASHA, OR AACVPR Standards, evidenced-based practice, departmental protocols, and departmental policy and procedures and scope of practice PT assessment skills, critical thinking and interpersonal skills related to quality patient care.
Sound technical skills related to care delivery. Time management skills - accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred: Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology.
Valid Wisconsin License or eligible. Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
